Australia/NZ Student Exchange
This programme fosters international understanding between young Australians and New Zealanders. The programme is arranged between Rotary District committees, but largely runs on a family-to-family basis with assistance from the District Committee and the local Rotary Clubs.
It is funded by the families directly involved, but with an administration charge, insurance and jacket cost payable by the sponsoring Rotary Club.

Young New Zealanders, aged between 13½ and 16 years on the first day of February of the Exchange Year programme, will spend a period of thirteen weeks living and studying in an Australian community as a guest of an Australian family. In return, the family of the New Zealand student will host the Australian student in their own home and community, for a further period of thirteen weeks.
